Welcome to my world. Here you will find a selection of designs, short films and graphics that i enjoy. Along with a small selection of my work and my thoughts.
All of the work is divided into sections, which you will find on the right hand side. Some of the sections are my current projects and research belonging to the brief, along with film and motion graphics, typography and identities from designers that i love.

Print Search

As part of the fine art yearbook project we will need to organise and arrange everything necessary to have the book printed, I have happily accepted the job as researcher and client contact point. so my roles include 1st point of contact for all of our clients (ie the whole 3rd year fine art students) and organise the printing, including quotes, samples, visits and all contact to and from the printers.
I have gathered quotes via phone and email and now have about 20 options.
Gathering the quotes and doing the research is something i have really enjoyed, even speaking to one or two rather rude printers ( there is no need for anyone to be rude or disrespectful it is one of my pet peeves so don't get me started) I have enjoyed talking to the printers as it gives me opportunities to do something i am actually good at! talking! also it has given me a huge insight into a world which still remains rather alien to me as most of my work is produced for digital production.
a company I really like is Team-impression in leeds.

Fine art

While searching for images to help with my layout project for the Fine art year book  I discovered these images, I love the colours!
I found these pics on a blog by Uffe Christoffersen, he used the picture of the cliff to inspire his colour palette for a series of paintings. I'm not a fan of the paintings but the photo of the cliff and the simple colour selection squares caught my attention. Natural earthy tones are my own personal colour palette for the majority of my wardrobe and now i believe i should include them in my design work especially for the fine art project we are working on at the moment that works to a natural earthy theme.
